Study Abroad
In the summer of 2024, I studied abroad at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Over 8 weeks, I had the privilege to immerse myself in Taiwanese culture, deepen my understanding of the Chinese language and form lasting friendships with peers from around the world.
From exploring historical sites to embracing local traditions, Taiwan's vibrant culture enriched my academic pursuits and personal growth. I am grateful to my Clemson professors and my CYCU teachers, whose guidance and expertise shaped my learning journey.
I was fortunate to participate in an intensive Chinese language program and obtain 12 credit hours for my studies abroad. This experience has broadened my global perspective and exponentially improved my Chinese language skills in all areas. I am eager to apply these learnings as I aspire to further connect the world through studying foreign language and international business, driven by a passion for international collaboration and cultural exchange.

Internship
Throughout the duration of my internship, May to August of 2023, I was exposed to various aspects of Cardinal Health Global Trade through daily live showcases designed specifically for summer interns. These showcases covered topics including trade operations, sourcing, compliance, logistics and optimization, as well as foreign trade zones and master data management.
I worked closely with Cardinal Health professionals, business partners, and vendors through my specifically assigned project. I worked with the Freight Audit and Pay team, which allowed me to enhance my analytical skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency by auditing payments daily.
Due to the internship's remote setting, I was able to strengthen my ability to work independently with a moderate level of direction, as well as capitalize on clear and concise communication skills.
I have provided written reports describing my internship with Cardinal Health Global Trade below.
